It’s January 29, 2026, and Las Vegas is already buzzing with excitement for the Chinese New Year! This year we’re celebrating the Year of the Horse (starting February 17), but the festivities have kicked off early with stunning displays across the casinos.

At the Bellagio, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens has transformed into a magical red-and-gold wonderland filled with stylized horses, giant lanterns, and flowers symbolizing prosperity. It’s free and open 24/7 – a must-see for amazing photos!

The Venetian and Resorts World are gearing up for their traditional lion dances, featuring fireworks, drums, and acrobatics inside their atriums. And don’t miss Chinese New Year in the Desert, the city’s biggest celebration, happening February 19–21 with parades, cultural performances, and delicious Asian cuisine all around town.
January is also a great time to visit: mild weather (around 59°F during the day, cooler at night), smaller crowds, and great hotel deals before the Lunar New Year rush.
