Burgundy Bakery and Café
Born and raised in France having worked with some of the finest epicureans, Chef Florent Cheveau decided to move to Las Vegas in 2007 where he was inspired by Chef Jean-Philippe Maury and was given the opportunity to work alongside the prestigious Chef. It was where he began his journey at Jean-Philippe Patisserie in Bellagio followed by the Aria as an Assistant Executive Pastry Chef.
In 2015, he gladly accepted his role as Executive Pastry Chef position at MGM Grand. As if that wasn’t enough, Chef Florent further pushed the limits of his culinary prowess by winning the US Chocolate Masters competition thus becoming the U.S. representative at the 2018 World Chocolate Masters competition in France where he placed 3rd overall and 1st place at degustation. From there he and his wife opened Burgundy Bakery & Cafe, an homage to their family’s roots.
